Who is Colanthia?
Colanthia is the middle name of my great aunt, Sarah Colanthia. She is also the twin sister of my grandmother, Evelyn, who passed away when I was just nine years old. Sarah Colanthia, or "Cansie” as we call her, seamlessly filled the role of grandmother for a majority of my life. Throughout her own journey she has taught me that humans are strong and capable beings. Capable of overcoming, capable of loving, and capable of continuing.
